Polo is ALL about tradition! Think boaters, blazers, pocket kerchiefs and pretty polka dot dresses.
I immediately channelled THAT ‘Pretty Woman’ look. You know… the one we ALL love and know soooo well.
'Keeping It Real' at the Polo was my mission.
Vibrant, fun, classy day wear, was my aim.
So, I headed off in search of vintage PoloStyle!
This vintage, two-piece silk outfit was made by WA Designer, Fiona Andrews. I stumbled upon it at Vinnies. I simply reversed it and wore the buttons at the back. Easy. It was the grand sum of $5!!!
PoloStyle is more relaxed than Racewear. BUT… its creative accessories that add the WOW factor.
The authentic vintage boater was from the fab Melville Carpark markets. I added the ribbon myself. Heels MUST be comfy and chunky. I tossed up between white chunky platforms or nude wedges. The nude blended in too much and looked a tad boring. So white from Betts won!
All accessories and pink shades were from Mimco. White O P I nails.
Amazing!! The Woodford Reserve Pavilion was oozing true Southern style and charm. What a day it was!!
Paspaley Polo In The City is EXACTLY what you imagine… classy action and loads of fun!
Something about Polo Players!! Think its them riding boots!
The Woodford Pavilion was packed with partying Lovelies sipping on Mojitos! Pictured above with my spesh gals, Donelle Donnelly and Clare Lubich and below with…
stylish Olympian Eamon Sullivan and his guest Adam.
Looking fresh and relaxed in the Woodford Pavilion were Channel 7 Presenter Angela Tsun and Paddy Dellit.
Out on the grassy runway it was a fashion fiesta.
Ladies, ladies, ladies wore floppy hats, fedoras, flippy skirts and summer colours…
Swanky Gents shone in preppy PoloStyle…Eye Candy galore!
Polo isn’t Polo without a parasol and the traditional divot stomping.
A huge shout out and big thank you to Woodford Reserve for your fabulous Southern hospitality. Best Mojitos in town!! Also to Sarah Langley and the team from and Detail Marketing Communications and ALL at AZB Creative for creating a stand-out, stunning Pavilion.
Paspaley Polo In The City really is THE best day out!

It’s Party Season. It’s Racing Season. It’s Polo Season! It’s FROCK SEASON!! So, let’s head into LOOK FEEL BE for an AndAndrea Frock Edit and lets find that perfect Summer dress!
**News, News, NEWS**
There’s a very special AndAndrea/Look Feel Be (LFB) offer down below!!
THE TUNIC: A tunic is a simple, slightly A-Line, no fuss day dress. This tunic has WOW factor due to the striking Aztec embroidery. It’s cool, comfortable (not clingy) and is made from easy to wear cotton.
Styled ‘down’ with a Boystyle/Streetstyle edge. It’s pared with manstyle Brogues, a leather cap, fluoro necklet, canary yellow CK satchel and over-sized Karen Walker shades. Lastly, an essential orange pop lippy, by MAC.
Tip: For a ‘girly’ or more dressed up look, change the styling. Add an over-sized black floppy hat, slide sandals or chunky wedges and an aqua clutch or orange tote. Easy.
Tip: If you’re tall, like me, add an underlayer. This underskirt adds interest, individuality and a teensy bit of coverage!
THE SHIFT: This crisp white/patterned shift is eye catching and has an instant ‘happy feel’ about it! Sleeves add extra arm coverage and can be gently rolled. A vibrant over-sized hat, oozes summer!
This is the perfect ‘Coffee/Shopping’ dress. It would definitely become a wardrobe staple. It’s a reliable, pull-on piece, that just works every time. The sneakers dress it down for day. Alternatively, ditch the sneakers and add on trend, chunky white heels for an instant dressed up look!
Take a close look. Notice the purple lace petti underneath? It peeks through as I walk. Just adds interest…
THE WRAP: Couldn’t resist… hamming it up and having a Look Feel Be/ Marilyn Moment here!
This classic wrap is a timeless piece that suits almost everyone! Styled above with beads, chunky white Betts heels, a striped cardi and ruby lips. It has a fresh nautical feel.
Tip: Nude wedges, slim belt and nude tote would change the look, or try red accessories for pizzazz. To dress it up, a gold belt, gold clutch and sparkly heels add glam.
Same wrap dress… different colour!! It also comes in racey red as well. WooHoo!!
THE KIMONO: This silk kimono dress is loose, drapey and feels sooo luxurious to wear. Love the versatile Boho Chic style!
Tip: It can be worn as a billowy open jacket and styled with a fitted, body hugging dress underneath. Or, with skinny jeans and cami.
Perfect for drinkies or that hot date night! Loads of leg action too (more than I would usually do, but it’s all in the name of good ol’ fashfun).
So, whether it’s a SHIFT, a TUNIC, a WRAP or a KIMONO, Look Feel Be has it all.
There are so many more shapes and styles in-store. Caroline (above) and Vanessa, will find the perfect dress just for you!
LFB dresses range in size from 8-18 and some dresses can be made to order.
Phew… after all that styling it was time to pop into the divine Mrs S Cafe for a well deserved Cherry Coconut pick me up!!
* Look Feel Be is on the fabulous Whatley Crescent strip in Maylands.

No so long ago, all-in-one outfits seemed like… ALL TOO MUCH!! But fashion moves quickly and onesies, jumpuits, playsuits and all-in-one outfits are trending right now!
This bold ‘Camilla’ onesie, is unstructured… long, loose, floaty bohemian style! It’s like an oversized ‘Andy Pandy’ pyjama suit! But once belted and scrunched it takes shape and is a delight to wear. A fab alternative to a maxi. The one above is from Style Palace
Let’s have some fun creating a few FAUX Onesies…
Pictured above, at a Fashion Viewing with Claire and Jilly Dafforn-Smith, several people enquired about my onesie. It’s actually a FAUX ONESIE! It’s a two piece, combined to look like an all-in-one!
TIP: A Onesie appears to elongate the body. Nice!!
This faux onesie is by Aussie Designer, Arthur Galan. Purchased as separates, many varied looks can be created!! To get the all-in-one look, it’s tucked in gently on one side. Very versatile and certainly passes as a onesie! White sandals by Betts.
Looks like an all-in-one!
This Simona faux onesie is actually a scooped tee and harem bloomers. One side gently tucked! Styled with lace up corset boots and ‘Top Knots’!! WooHoo!! Dare to wear…
The safe, black onesie.
TIP: A safer, NO FAIL faux onesie, is a plain silk top and wide leg trouser set. This two piece set is from Witchery. The pants have a self-bow belt. The top is tucked in all round, then gently pulled out. The frill adds volume around the bust line.
An easy, dressy, yet casual look! Perfect for drinkys or a BBQ with friends. A comfy ‘go to’ Summer wardrobe staple.
Time to hunt down a top and pant set and create your very own all-in-one summer jumpsuit look! Go safe and plain or… go wild and patterened… there are no rules!

PS Charlie Brown does some fabulous jumpsuits and all-in-one looks. They sell fast, so pop into CB at Claremont Quarter and Manager Kirra will definitely sort you out!

Dressed in OTT Pink…we celebrate!
We celebrate good health, wonderful friends and sisterhood, all thanks to Julie Ryan (Centre R).
Pictured above also, Julie’s mum ‘Hot Dot’ and Nicole Carboni (L).
Every November in true pinkstyle, Julie Ryan generously opens her home for her ‘Girls Night In’. It’s a fun, ‘feelgood’ night and girlies of all ages come together to raise money for a very worthy cause…Breast Cancer research.
There was strawberry bubbles, shrieks of laughter and chatter all round. Raffles were drawn to raise extra funds (no-one went home empty handed). I shared my personal Breast Cancer journey, as well as some Claremont Quarter Styling stories.
This is the 8th year in a row that Julie has held this event. Hours and hours are spent gathering and wrapping the donations.
Talented Milliner Emma Reynolds from Headonism, kindly donated a bespoke pink hatinator which was raffled. The Arty Beadz girls (Top L) displayed and sold their handmade jewellery on the night. Nicole modelled her favourite red coral string. (Top L).
United we stand and feeling very grateful. Rae-Ellen, Liz, Joanne (R) and myself, all survived cancer.
After her mastectomy, treatment and the ‘All Clear’, Joanne got this!
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies!! Such a positive vibe on the night.
A lolly laden cup cake to take home… and a glowing inner feeling for all.
Heartfelt thanks Julie… you’re one in a million xx
P.S. Next year, I hope to share Julie’s invite on my blog so more of you AndAndrea Lovelies can join in and come along too.
