Boy o BOY!!

Boy o Boy! It certainly has been an AndAndrea whirlwind time lately! PFF wound down and I went into workshop mode!! Women love the interactive nature of workshops. They feel part of the whole experience. It’s also an added bonus if fab UnModels join in the fun and volunteer to model!

Workshop 1: It’s bright and early and I’m off to Lamont’s, Bishops House, for a networking breakfast. Wearing sass & bide suiting (with a modern twist), Ellery cropped skinnies and Urban Soul sandals. The cummerband worn low on the hips, elongates the body and adds interest. Shades by Karen Walker.

The Committee for Perth hosted a long table, ‘In Touch’ networking breakfast. I was invited as guest speaker to talk about my journey into the fashion world. It was an intimate affair, at historic Bishops House. There were some familiar faces in the group and I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful women, such as CEO Marion Fulker (above).

Workshop 2: Next up, another historic venue, The Celtic Club, in Ord St. West Perth. Wrays hosted a networking breakfast for St Mary’s Old Girls’ Association, ‘Women of Distinction’. Over fresh fruit, coffee and croissants, the ladies mixed, mingled and were actively involved in the workshop. I showcased Racewear for the Spring Carnival, fashion trends and also showed how to add colour to the work wardrobe.

Workshop 3: W.O.W. (The ‘Women of Woodside’), are half way through their Spring challenge. It aims at encouraging the ladies to make simple, achievable changes to improve their health and lifestyle. Committments such as taking the stairs for exercise, eating a healthy snack etc.  I encouraged the women to come into Myer for an AndAndrea styling treat! A Myer voucher was presented to one amazing woman who shared her incredible weight loss journey.

After the workshop, the ladies enjoyed viewing clothes followed by fruit platters and juice. WOW! A healthy, Woodside, afternoon tea… smart choice!

Workshop 4: Next up, the fab Variety Ladies came into Myer for a workshop. The Variety Children’s Charity supports children growing up with a disability, serious illness or disadvantage. Coordinated by Lesley Hart and her dedicated committee, they hold fundraising events throughout the year. I attended my first Variety event earlier in the year. It was a full-house fundraiser at Frasers in Kings Park. We all donated a Toy and guest speaker Julie Bishop, shared her fascinating life story. This event at Myer however, was held to say ‘THANK YOU’ to the buddies (ladies who support Variety) for their efforts all year. Some lucky buddies even won Myer gift vouchers!

Gorgeous UnModel Anna, wowed us all in Charlie Brown. Lesley Hart and Charlie Brown, Area Manager, Gabby (above) were thrilled with the event.

Anna modelled three, new Leona Edmiston frocks, suitable for Racing. We added a clutch and fascinator and the ladies were in awe!

Afterwards, tea and scones were served and several ladies were treated to a ‘ck one’ mini makeover, by consultant, Emma Jane. Just look at these delightful Variety ladies above. After the show, many of the ladies were spotted shopping on the fashion floor in Myer!
