Share Special Moments

Easter Sunday is traditionally a time when our family comes together to share food, wine, love and laughter. Usually, it’s a roast lunch, followed by some serious chocolate overload. This year though, we broke from tradition and met for an early casual meal at our local hotel, The Boulevard. As the weather is still warm, I decided to wear a little summer dress and sandals, probably for the last time before winter. The Yeojin Bae silk dress above, is on sale at Myer. It caused a problem because it’s flimsy and way too ‘leggy’ for me. I have layered a little black skirt underneath, for extra coverage! This dress also works well as a long ‘top’, worn with skinny jeans. Tip: Dress black ‘down’ by pairing with tan accessories. Tan sandals and tan Bali beads give the outfit a carefree, casual look.

This is dad’s 90th Easter! He loves every opportunity to get together with the family and share special moments.

Hmmmmm….sadly Easter is over! We all had a fab time, but have promised dad a traditional roast for his 91st Easter next year!
