Leopard Liason

After picking up Son No.1 from his apartment, early this morning, we headed into the city for a brekky energiser at Jean Pierre Sancho’s and a Myer styling session. I wore an ‘Empire Rose’ silk leopard print dress (see above). It was a treasured ‘Salvos’ find, a few years back and was priced at $7! It was far too big, but also far too good to pass up. So, I pulled the under-bust drawstring out and tied it around my waist. Then popped a red singlet underneath and voila…it now fits! Tip: When op shopping, be creative and look for the ‘potential’ in special finds.

Colour POP! Favourite purchase. This cashmere Dom Bagnato jumper was on sale and too good to pass up. It’s charmingly casual and can be worn with or without a tshirt underneath. A few other items were selected, then it was shoe and sunnies time.

The dark wash ‘Republic’ jeans are cut straight, not skinny and double rolled to form a cuff. The rubber soled, tan, suede Vans are a cross between a boat shoe and mocassin – very versatile and are worn with invisible socks.

These black Ksubi sunglasses are mid-sized. Ksubi make over-sized ‘look at me’ sunnies, but these were a ‘safe’ choice as they look great with both casual or work clothes. After the shopping trip was over we returned to the apartment and did a complete wardrobe overhaul to make way for the new purchases. All the old, tired and dated clothes were culled and donated to charity. Job done!
