Kimono ‘n Studs

I stumbled upon a ‘secret’ sushi bar, hidden behind the old GPO in Perth. It’s  frequented by all the locals and of course Myer staff! I often pop over there now, for a breath of fresh air and some tasty morsels. I’m wearing my favourite black, cropped Ellery pants….again!! The gold, Yeojin Bae kimono-style jacket is over-sized. It can be worn loose and open, but I have nipped it in, with a gold belt chain to create shape. The elbow length sleeves are an interesting point of difference. The Charlie Brown studded singlet adds textural interest, as the outfit is quite plain. The carpet bag is a Nina Maya creation. Tip: neck chains can double as belt chains!

Gold ‘n black, Gold ‘n black, Gold ‘n black!!

These ‘Croc’ leather lace-up Shakuhachi boots are super comfy, due to the solid chunky heels. Being on my feet all day, comfort is the key or, the shoes ‘sit it out’ in my wardrobe!

Back at Myer, Keely from sass & bide looked fab in her kimono. Her version is a clever scarf, that can be worn kimono style. She kindly gave me a four-way demo (see above) to show just how versatile this scarf really is!
