Hari Hari Harem

Simona is normally quite a conservative Australian label. The designer was possibly having an ‘out there’ moment when creating these cropped, balloon harem pants. They are a LOVE or HATE look, but either way they will get noticed!! As the leopard print is big and bold, I played down the top with a black silk cami and chunky brushed gold necklace from Bali. Flat sandals mean happy feet all day at work, but heels would really dress the outfit up for nite.

Wow! This Cue, wool crepe LBD is new in at Myer and is the perfect office dress. It suits most body shapes. Rachael tried on many dresses during her styling session and this was one of her picks. It’s cinched in at the waist and the A-line pleated skirt falls beautifully. Add a blazer for a corporate look and a scarf for a colour splash! Rachael works at an office in Subiaco where each lucky staff member was given a surprise Christmas styling gift from their very generous boss. One by one they’re coming in-store for their treat. What a fab way to start the new year with the whole team dressed for success!

These Siren, Roman, ‘armour’ plate sandals are HOT! Body armour is trending from Europe and the look is being seen on shoes as well. Any chain, metal, leather or studded body armour, can be worn over Tees or shirts. They add a strong statement to any outfit. Bags and neck plates are also adorned with metal shapes. Tip: create your own body armour from op shop metal finds and scraps of leather or chain.

Copper is the ‘IT’ metal. Sass & bide have beautiful, but pricey pieces. Their copper belts and coiled arm bands are selling fast. Keep an eye out for ‘copper-look’ cuffs and chunky rings. Most junky-jewel stores stock them at prices around $30.
