Extravaganza

Chantilly lace, chandeliers, candles and cake were plentiful at the annual Bridal Expo this weekend. What an extravaganza!! Whether it be gypsophila, vintage limos, tulle or jewels, every bride’s dreams were on show at the 26th annual, Burswood Expo. The Grand Ballroom was transformed into a sea of pretty exhibitions for all things bridal.

Bejewelled brides, parades, complimentary hair and make-up trials, and wedding cake tastings were just a few of the 100’s of displays on offer. It’s a fabulous opportunity for brides to ‘try before they buy’.

The lovely, ladies from the Myer Gift Registry, always promote their services at the Expo. They invited me along, to join forces with them and promote the complimentary styling service I provide, for bridesmaids, grooms and wedding guests. Karen co-ordinated ‘Team Myer’. Her pro-exhibition also included Royal Doulton and Wedgwood. The Myer gals were flat out all day long helping eager ‘brides’ and answering questions galore. Karen (above) who was celebrating her Wedding Anniversary, even found time for a quick, complimentary ‘up-do’ so she was ‘ready-set-go’ for a special nite out!

These gorgeous models were taking a break from being ‘brides’ for the day. Teresa (Above R) works on the fashion floor at Myer. She modelled in my recent ‘Time to Shine’ post. I’m wearing lime-citrus sass & bide jeans and a manning cartell silk shirt. Both are available and on sale at Myer Perth City!

The heavy duty, ‘railroad track’ metal belt, is an op shop find.

My favourite Event Stylists in Perth are ‘Touched By Angels’. Owner Sally, above, was one of the many exhibitors at the Bridal Expo. Over the past 11 years, Sally and her team have styled many premier events in Perth. She has built up a strong reputation for her professional approach, coupled with her creative, unique styling. Sally is a sheer delight and will magically transform your dream event into reality.
